Kate Purdy is a writer/performer at iO West and UCB theaters in Los Angeles.  Her short film “Teenage Baby,” about a baby in high school, was recently in the SF Sketch festival. She hosts a monthly show at iO West titled “Who’s Crazy” where couples present their arguments. She also wrote for the TV show Cold Case and MadTV, and was one of the founders of UnitedHollywood.com during the writer’s strike.

Joe Kelly started out performing improv in his hometown of Atlanta. From there he moved to Chicago where he joined iO and SecondCity theaters.  He later joined the cast of Boom Chicago in Amsterdam, and then was hired to write for Saturday Night Live. He currently writes for the show “How I Met Your Mother.” You may also recognize him as the catcher from Major League III.

Ryan Suffern has worked on films of all kinds over the past decade, starting with the independent film community in Chicago, and later, serving as an assistant to Steven Spielberg. Ryan has written and directed several independent shorts, commercials and videos, and in 2006, he began his own production company, Suckatash Productions.

In addition to serving as his on-set assistant, Ryan has documented the filming of Spielberg's last four movies, including, having the pleasure last year to shoot the behind-the-scenes for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Ryan recently finished writing a feature screenplay on assignment for DreamWorks and is currently in production on his second web series for the Independent Comedy Network. An English major from the University of Illinois, Ryan lives in Los Angeles with his talented wife Kim Garr.

A graduate of both UC Berkeley and the Cinematography program at AFI, Michael brings a wide range of experiences to his work as a Cinematographer. With story telling always at the core, he enjoys diverse types of work including features, commercials and documentaries. He has had work screened at the Sundance Film Festival, the Whitney Museum, the New York Video Festival at Lincoln Center, the San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art, and in a new filmmakers showcase at the Cannes Film Festival.

A Greensboro, NC native, Ben Wise is the son of two music-teaching parents and began playing piano and singing at the age of 6. By 12 years, he'd switched focus to bass and guitar and started honing his songwriting chops. He spent years fronting punk/DIY bands in NC's indie-drenched music scene, releasing various albums and touring to gain exposure elsewhere. A move to NYC in 1999 to front rock/emo band This Moment On also landed him engineering and production gigs in studios all over Manhattan and eventually Los Angeles. His first album as a solo artist, the autobiographical Beside The Dial, was released in January '08. He's currently promoting/supporting it, composing themes for short films and television and doing recording/production work with various artists.
