"THE BREAKUP"

Jenn tries to cheer up a downtrodden Melissa with a hike and some outdoor flirtation with shirtless men.

Premieres FEBRUARY 17TH!

Jennifer, a chronic short-term dater, guides her best friend, the newly-single Melissa, through the unwritten rules of the young dating world. Melissa struggles to learn the game while Jennifer tries to understand why she can't hold down a guy, and they both start wondering - is dating in LA really worth it?

Based on the real-life dating horror stories of two best friends in their early twenties, “Let’s Get Laid!” uses the context of dating to explore the highs and lows of life in their early-twenties. Jennifer and Melissa realize they don't need to sit around and rely on men to get by. Between making rent, getting promoted, and going out, they decide they’re not necessarily searching for Mr. Right... just Mr. Right Now.

After begging for an agent for Chanukah at age 7, Jennifer is making her mark in the entertainment world. She has appeared in numerous national commercials, guest starred on “The Amanda Show” and “Outreach” (WB pilot), was on stage at the Geffen Playhouse, and most recently booked a series regular role for a Style Channel comedy pilot. After graduating from Northwestern University with a Theatre degree, she teamed up with Melissa to create “Let’s Get Laid!” Her parents couldn’t be more proud that she had finally used her dating failures to become a sex comedy writer. During the day, she works in casting for CBS’s “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race,” where she is a professional dream-maker / dream-breaker. Jennifer enjoys the Grilled Cheese Food Truck, fantasizing about her childhood hero Raphael (the “sexiest” Ninja Turtle), and cheesy horror flicks.

Melissa has developed a niche in sex comedy (according to her mom). After graduating with a theater degree from Northwestern University, she created "Let's Get Laid" with Jenn as a way to cope with the trauma of her LA dating life. As an actress, you can see her in an upcoming episode "Important Things with Demetri Martin" on Comedy Central and in the Rob Schneider movie "Wild Cherry." A lover of improv and sketch, she studies and makes a fool out of herself at Upright Citizens Brigade. She is a professional comedy writer for MSN's Wonderwall.com, paying her bills writing jokes about the Kardashians. When all else fails, you can find her at a local Hollywood bar picking up, um, new material.
