While enjoying a successful design career in film and television, Jennifer is thrilled to collaborate with the creators of Strike TV. A graduate of UCLA’s Theater Dept., Jennifer draws upon her love of creating characters through color and texture as seen in Chuck Rose’s “Side Effects” and Peter Hyoguchi’s “Me First”. Jennifer’s experience with stunts, practical effects and special effects make-up enabled her to create a new standard of horror-inspired action, filmed entirely in daylight, for Tom Holland’s “Five or Die”.
Character development and technical knowledge are the main components of all Jennifer’s work, including: “SAW”, “Veronica Mars”, “Killer Pad”, “House of the Dead 2”, “The Fallen Ones”, and most recently, Frank Mancuso Jr.’s remake of his 1986 horror film, “April Fool’s Day”.

My goal is to work on Post Production Audio. I currently work at a musical theater running sound. Although I love the unpredictable and exciting life of live sound, my real passion is in Post Production.

It all started in a tiny darkroom in Sepulveda, California. When I was tossed out of some high school class or another for goofing around too much, they put on the school newspaper to fill the period. The teacher made me the photographer, and I was hooked. That was a long time ago, and I'm still shooting.
When the WGA strike started, my regular work slowed way down. To support the writers (and to stay out of my wife's hair all day) I began photographing strike activities. I met some great people covering the strike. One of the them was Peter Hyoguchi, who invited me to take unit stills for his show, Me First!, and recommended me for several others.
I have to say that some of the best time I've spent in production was working on StrikeTV projects. Seeing some of the shows I didn't work on makes me wish I could have contributed to more of them!

Patrick Francis has recently completed a feature documentary on the maverick film director, Andre deToth. Entitled, Andre deToth: The Director's Director, the picture probes the connection between deToth's wild life (his escape from Nazi occupied Poland, the devastating collapse of his marriage to Veronica Lake, his resilience after breaking his neck 3 times) and his extraordinary cinema (A-pictures, B-pictures, noirs, westerns, war films, and the 3-D classic, House of Wax) A collaborative effort, shot over the last years of deToth's life, the film ultimately proves to be an insiders document about a man who truly lived life on his own terms. Additionally, directors: Quentin Tarantino, Nicolas Roeg, Richard Donner, and Bertrand Tavernier pay tribute to this largely underappreciated artist.
For the video-based website, Interviewing Hollywood, Mr. Francis has produced and edited over 30 hours of content, and conducted career spanning Q&A’s with Crispin Glover, Elliot Gould, Peter Bogdanovich, and many others. He’s also written several screenplays for hire (which hopefully will never be produced) and written film related journalism for such publications as L.A. Weekly, MovieMaker Magazine, among others.
It should be noted that Mr. Francis is obsessed with the cinema of Werner Herzog, is an L.A. native, and is the proud owner of a barrel of single malt Scotch whiskey, which is quietly aging in the briny sea air of southern Scotland.

So what I've been trying to illustrate to a guy friend! "Me First" syndrome has no room in my life. Thanks for this Peter!
somweg (18th January 2009)
Commandment #1 is not to obey others commands and then when Gordon breaks it, he is commanded to sit in the punishment chair. Shouldn't he be punished again for following the command to sit in the chair?
gee man (17th January 2009)
I look forward to never seeing this crap again. This played like a bad overly long SNL skit gone wrong. Very wrong. Me first guy, you are no Ben Stiller. Though you obviously were trying to be. Too much showing and not enough being. What a shocker that the couple was another super geek combo. Is it ever NOT that? Way to think outside the box.
No surprises here...

A very funny satire of the now flourishing life coaching profession. In fact there are lots of very shallow life coaches and clueless clients enacting real-life tragi-commedies--an irony wittily captured by the brilliant co-writers. Eagerly look forward to future episodes!
nkruse (16th January 2009)
As a therapist, I thought Jeffrey Wise and his "Me First" coaching was hilarious. Can't wait to see future episodes!
groovciti (16th January 2009)
Very funny... love the way he cuts off everyone... and Steve at the end.. hilarious
Catherine (16th January 2009)
Very funny, the life coach reminds me of Ed Helms on The Office. Charlie Dougherty is such a sad sack, I love him, and his wife also reminds me of a Saturday Night Live actress whose name I can't remember. This show is so emblematic of the culture right now, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!
