Emily is an actress, writer and artist. She has written for SOMA magazine, HOTMOMSCLUB.COM, MAMAZINE.COM and the in-flight magazine for an airline that no longer exists. She created, wrote, produced and starred in several short and feature films, some with her brother Andrew (COUNTING, SOUTH MAIN), some with her longtime collaborator Julie Delpy (BLAH, BLAH, BLAH) and some with both of them (LOOKING FOR JIMMY, CAREFUL) all of which went on to have impressive festival runs.
As an actress she has appeared in several feature films (SEVEN, STICK IT, MR. WOODCOCK) and television shows (IN LIVING COLOR, JACK AND JILL, CRIMINAL MINDS). But it is in the role of Doris Pickman, ER’s snarky paramedic that she has played since the show started, for which she receives the most (and only) fan mail, usually from incarcerated women. Emily received impressive reviews for her starring role in the indie Sundance cult hit THE TALENT GIVEN US, directed by her brother Andrew. Most recently Emily starred as a suicidal pot smoking stripper in the film CHRONIC TOWN along with Garry Marshall and Paul Dooley, which premiered at the Sundance 2008 Film Festival.
She has studied improv, comedy and writing at The Groundlings and acting with Susan Batson of the Actor’s Studio, Ivana Chubbuck, Silvana Gallardo and Ian Tucker. She is an accomplished fine-artist and shows her work internationally and in L.A.’s Acuna Hansen Gallery. She received a B.A. in Fine Art from Vassar. She refuses to give up Ikea, Forever 21 and Splenda. Her most coveted possession, besides her kid, is her toilet plunger.

With creative vision and boundless passion, filmmaker, actor, and artist Shane Edelman is the quintessential Renaissance man. Whether he is acting in a movie, directing a feature film or painting in his studio, Edelman is most comfortable creating.
If you forced him to choose just one, he wouldn't be able to. "They all influence each other and I couldn't imagine leaving one by the wayside," says Edelman. "When you watch him act or direct or see his paintings you understand that he brings his knowledge about art into his acting and directing as well as the other way around," says Marissa Ribisi, co-writer and actress in Edelman's first feature "According to Spencer."
Edelman's career as an artist began when he was old enough to use paints without swallowing them . A few years later when Edelman was old enough to hold a camera he took to directing whoever would let him, including himself.
Each year Edelman took his passions more and more seriously. "When everyone else was working at a yogurt store during the summers, I was off working on film sets and falling in love with the career I knew I would pursue. While a freshman at Emerson college, Edelman wrote a screenplay entitled "The List," which Castle Rock Entertainment optioned.
His feature directorial debut, “According to Spencer”, which he co-wrote, starred Jesse Bradford, Adam Goldberg, David Krumholtz, Brad Rowe, Mia Kirschner and Giovanni Ribisi is currently made a strong impact on the festival circuit and was later picked up by Lion’s Gate Films for distribution. Following that film, Edelman teamed up again with producer Terence Michael to helm HBO Films, “Love For Rent” starring Angelica Cepeda, Ken Marino, Nora Dunn and Jim Piddock.
Edelman has appeared in front of the camera , along, Jennifer Aniston and Ben Affleck in the 2008 “He’s Just Not that Into You”, along with Jodie Foster in “Flightplan” He also appeared to act along side Leonardo De Caprio in Steven Speilberg's Catch Me if You Can as well as Universal’s “State of Play” with Russell Crowe.
Shane spends his time away from the camera in his art studio. He had his debut in Los Angeles with LA Art Scene and Leonardo Ledesma in 1997. His solo show in 1999 at the Simon/Schade Gallery sold out within the first week. His second solo show was at the Linda Warren Fine Arts Gallery in Silverlake in January 2000. That same year Edelman's art was shown in San Francisco gallery, Delivery Room. Recently, Edelman's work was displayed at the MOMA in San Jose, California and at the prestigious Eyre-Moore Gallery in Seattle. In March of 2005, Edelman had a solo art show at the Don O Melveny Gallery in Beverly Hills hosted by Michael Rapaport and Brad Rowe to benefit the Art of Elysium. His last show was with renowned French-born artist, Emmanuel Flipo at the Stop Art Gallery in Santana Row.
Edelman is currently in pre-production on the film, “Savages of Fresno” slated to shoot outside of Los Angeles in the Spring of 2009 . He also is sowing at The Eagle Rock Center for the Arts in Martin Durazo’s group show, PLUSH.

Production Notes
LOOK WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT MOTHERHOODLUM!
MOTHERHOODLUM is kind of like Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia with babies. – Comedy Central Insider
Like Curb Your Enthusiasm meets Knocked Up, single mom Emily Wagner's hilarious MOTHERHOODLUM series is worth a few moments of your day. Check them out free on You Tube now, before HBO snaps them up and charges you to watch. We promise you'll laugh. – CoolMomPicks.com
Hilarious! I still play scenes from this show over and over in my mind. I still laugh about them. The sexy babysitter who won't stop calling the baby sexy. The over-the-top excitement over free baby gear. The bumping into the old stoner boyfriend. And on and on. Treat yourself. Maybe it'll help you even laugh at yourself a little too. – Mamazine.com
Stop what you’re doing and watch this one. Marty and Emily say they got pregnant on Jdate. Wait till you hear about his parenting plan, written on Excel, of course. - SingleMomSeeking.com
Don’t flirt with the babysitter when there’s a two-way radio in the house. A comedy video from the great MOTHERHOODLUM series. – Offsprung.com
I. Cannot. Stop. Laughing. At. This. Okay, so technically this isn't a "blog." It's a video series that's only sort-of a vlog (that's a "video log" for those of you who aren't so hep to the latest computing box lingo) but mostly a comedy series but people, it is so teh funny. (That's "the funny" for those of you who like to type properly or whatever.) – Mom’s Daily Dose, Clubmom.com
I can promise you this show will be coming to a TV near you. - Mamapop.com
