Marguerite Moreau’s resume beautifully balances cutting edge independents and flashy studio fare. Whether playing the unattainable dream girl in Wet Hot American Summer or the obsessed vampire researcher in Warner Brothers’ Queen of the Damned, Marguerite brings fierce intelligence and charisma to her characters. Marguerite had a banner fall 2003. While shooting the leading role of Sadie Atkins, a Charles Manson acolyte and cold-blooded killer, in the CBS movie, Helter Skelter, Marguerite emerged from the Toronto Film Festival as the girl to watch for her sublime performance in Easy. At the same time, she grabbed attention for her role as the capable go-to girl for Gene Hackman’s character in the Fox hit, Runaway Jury.
The year of 2004 was no less thrilling. Once again, Marguerite saw her performance in Easy capture the hearts of audiences, this time at Sundance. Major critics hailed her rendering of “Jamie,” a self-described jerk magnet determined to change her ways, as “enchanting” (Kenny Turan/LA Times) and “charming” (David Ansen/Newsweek). She also starred in the ABC series, Life As We Know It, a coming-of-age story in which she played a teacher who seduces her sixteen-year old student.
In 2005, Marguerite played a recurring role on FOX’s The O.C. and then returned to work for the network starring as Det. Rachel Lyford in Killer Instinct. She completed the year with a recurring role on ABC’s What About Brian.
In 2006, she continued her recurring role on What About Brian and starred in the independent film The Uninvited directed by Bob Badway.
In 2007, Marguerite starred in Jeff Balsmeyer’s independent film Long Shot opposite Jeremy Renner, Dallas Roberts and Ayelet Zurer. She also shot live action feature film Beverly Hills Chihuahua with Piper Perabo and Drew Barrymore. The film opened in first place and has made an impressive $94.5 million to date.
Last year, Marguerite continued to build on her already impressive resume having shot these independent films this year, Wake, Mary Barger and Easier with Practice. She also made guest appearances on several television shows including the critically acclaimed series Mad Men, playing a sultry prostitute who has a romantic encounter with John Slattery.
This year, Marguerite made a guest appearance on ABC’s new television show Cupid. She is currently recurring on the new NBC drama Parenthood.
Marguerite began her career in the beloved Mighty Ducks franchise. She headlined in the Stephen King miniseries, Firestarter 2 and starred in the Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation of The Locket, opposite Vanessa Redgrave. She also starred in the independent features, Rave MacBeth and Two Days.
Marguerite graduated with honors from Vassar College and currently resides in Los Angeles.

Ah! What a funny show. Where are the rest of the episodes? I like the actor playing the dog and the cute girlfriend.
Fosterkane (20th May 2009)
These are hysterical! I love it that they're shot from the dog's point of view. Great writing and acting. (Also, the actor who plays Rusty is perfect.) I wanna see more Rusty, the depressive psychic genie dog from the future!!
