  Still Photographer

It all started in a tiny darkroom in Sepulveda, California. When I was tossed out of some high school class or another for goofing around too much, they put on the school newspaper to fill the period. The teacher made me the photographer, and I was hooked. That was a long time ago, and I'm still shooting.

When the WGA strike started, my regular work slowed way down. To support the writers (and to stay out of my wife's hair all day) I began photographing strike activities. I met some great people covering the strike. One of the them was Peter Hyoguchi, who invited me to take unit stills for his show, Me First!, and recommended me for several others, including Speedie Date.

I have to say that some of the best time I've spent in production was working on StrikeTV projects. Seeing some of the shows I didn't work on makes me wish I could have contributed to more of them!
