Excellent all around!
lorinw (21st October 2009)
Well done all around. Will there be a non-serialized version so people can watch it all the way through?
ericestrin (21st October 2009)
Outstanding final segment! I watched all the way through the credits to hear the voice-overs. Great job!
kat310 (20th October 2009)
Thanks so much for the kind words. Everyone on this project worked for free, so praise really goes to them ... especially my producers, Amy Ness and Melanie Backer, Adam Kane who gave us such lovely images and of course Laurel and Titus. When you watch last installment, stay tuned through end credits for audio.
Dug em (17th October 2009)
I'm hooked. Clever plot twists, fine performances, so many things eloquently unsaid. I'm eager to see the final chapter!
ChristinaW (17th October 2009)
Excellent work -- well-written, well-acted; beautifully shot and directed a... High quality stuff! Can't wait to see how it ends!
ericestrin (15th October 2009)
Wow, this is top quality. Can't wait for the finale.
CJG53 (13th January 1922)
There isn't a false note so far in THE CLEARING and it's far and away the best looking piece I've ever seen made for the Internet. The actors are brilliant and completely captivating. I also love how nothing is rushed. In that way it's reminiscent of Robert Bresson films like LANCELOT DU LAC.
But I, too, hate that it's being serialized. This film is weaving a dream from which i do not want release!
jasenwade (12th October 2009)
I am not patient enough for this short story in four parts thing. I WANT IT ALL RIGHT NOW!! Well done. The camera work is great and the writing is superb. Great job to all involved.
ELISABETH JONAS (11th October 2009)
THIS FIRST TWO CHAPTERS OF THE CLEARING, WRITTEN BY KAT SMITH, LEFT ME WANTING MORE! THERE ARE SO MANY UNKNOWNS. I LOVE THE INTRIGUE!
